FlipWedding/Storymix Media: This is another item that I was so happy to see was featured by Michael Cerbelli during his Hot Event & Entertaining Ideas at TSE because most couples (70% by one study) are not getting a professional videographer for their wedding day for a variety of reasons. Once that decision is made it cannot be taken back and those precious moments (you might not have even seen) will be gone forever. After all of the effort, planning, and expenses of preparing for the big day, video often doesn't become a priority. Unfortunately it is only afterwards when the couple realizes that the day was a blur and they wish they had recorded the events.
Storymix Media has come up with a great solution to many couples wedding video dilemma, the Flip Wedding. They provide Flip camera packages for you to have your bridal party, family, and guests shoot video for 3 days before and during the main event. After shipping the cameras back you get to pick the scenes you want included in your highlight video in their online Storyboard. Or you can opt to rely on the creative experts at Storymix to create everything for you. With 10 themes to choose from and their Apple Pro Certified editors, you're sure to end up with a keepsake video you'll enjoy and cherish the rest of your life. And the great thing is that packages start at $99! Now there is no reason not to capture, share, and enjoy your day.
Storymix has been generous enough to provide one lucky winner a FREE Flip Wedding to any couple getting married before May 1st. Here's how to enter the contest:
1. Add a comment
2. Tweet us or @storymix
3. Like us or Storymix on Facebook
All entries need to be made by Feb 14th. Good luck!
I'm on the look out starting in June for 2012 Favorite Things items... if you have something new that's launching in the late fall, hit me up to see about being featured in Tampa.
Finally, a service (law related) tip for the wedding industry. Would like to see more recommendations specifically geared to those in the special event services industry.

I absolutely adore those cake stands, especially the wood one and the idea of the flip camera package. I wonder if you can get skins for the cameras in the wedding colors too?
